Matt Hutchinson hails from Boston and began his musical journey at age 12, learning to play the guitar. Matt grew up with a musical family and played in a variety of bands growing up with his twin brother who played the drums. Matt’s influences include the Allman Brothers, The Eagles, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Al DiMeola, Pat Metheny, and Van Halen. He began songwriting at age 14. Matt’s songwriting addresses issues such as redemption, forgiveness, resiliency, and love.
